If you grew up with two brothers, you’d be able to relate to this story. Peaches is the only girl of this litter of three. She’ll give you an idea of what it’s like to be the single rose among the thorns.
Shar-Pei pups look like wrinkly cinnamons from afar. Aside from their physical looks, their intelligence and guarding skills are also noteworthy.
Momma dog couldn’t be prouder of her babies. They’re lively, healthy, and they certainly possess the characteristics a good guard dog should have.
Dog mama knew that her only daughter’s the most special of them all. But black-coated brother, Raisin, took every opportunity to show his mom that he’s the Alpha.
Every time the siblings play, Raisin uses his brawn to dig at Peaches. Peaches doesn’t have a choice but to call mama for help.
One day, the puppies roughhoused during playtime, and as usual, Raisin’s on Peaches’ case. The brown female pup rushed over and used mama as a shield.
Peaches understood that she’s no match to Raisin’s muscle, so she used her brains to outwit her bully of a brother.
The playing continued outside, where Peaches got to showcase her guard dog skills. When an intruder passed by the gates, mama barked, and Peaches did the same.
Mama’s impressed, but even as Peaches reveled in her mom’s approval, she kept an eye out for Raisin. They were supposed to be honing their guarding chops, but he’s nowhere to be seen.
Her brother’s guarding skills turned out to apply only to toys – he had no interest in doing the actual work. No matter how Peaches tried to engage Raisin, he wouldn’t budge from his toys.
Playing it smart, Peaches employed her other brother Pancake to help her get the toys away from Raisin. Soon, Raisin discovered that it’s no fun to be picked on.
