A friendship between kids and dogs is one of the purest forms of friendship. Both take little to no time to form a very strong bond with each other. Some even form friendships that last their entire lifetime.
Hence, this is the reason why most families get a pet dog for their children. Not only are dogs a kid’s best playmate, but they can also learn things from each other. And most importantly, dogs are very loyal and will do anything to protect their best friend.
When that bond between kid and dog is shared between a kid who is not the dog’s owner, it makes the bond even more special. In the video below, that same bond is shared between a 2-year-old and his neighbor’s dog.
These two adorable playmates prove that a fence cannot stop friends from having fun together. Dozer, the neighbor’s dog, has become friends with 2-year-old Conway that he just loves to play with him. Dozer would wait for Conway to come by the fence so that they can play together.
Dozer would drop his toy ball over Conway’s side of the fence. Conway then picks up the ball and throws it back to Dozer’s side of the yard. Dozer then excitedly runs for the ball and fetches it for Conway, who is waiting for the ball on his side of the fence.
The two adorable friends play fetch back and forth from their own yards. And they seem to enjoy playing with each other for hours on end. You can see the joy in Conway’s face, and his adorable laughter is a clear giveaway that he loves to play with his best friend, Dozer.
The heartwarming video of the two friends playing fetch has been captured by Conway’s father, Chad Nelson, on video, and we thank the family for sharing this priceless moment with us.
